Negativas com don't e doesn't

Em inglês, no simple present, você não pode simplesmente colocar not antes do verbo como a gente faz com "não" em português. Você precisa do auxiliar do/does + not:

• I/you/we/they → do not = don't
• he/she/it → does not = doesn't

Afirmação	Negativa
I live here.	I don't live here.
She speaks Portuguese.	She doesn't speak Portuguese.
We have time.	We don't have time.

Como nas perguntas: com doesn't, o verbo principal perde o -s: She doesn't speak (não speaks).

Exceção: o verbo to be. Sem don't/doesn't — basta not depois do to be:

• I am not tired. (ou I'm not tired.)
• Marina is not at home. (ou Marina isn't at home.)
