A real conversation constantly jumps between tenses. "Yesterday I went to the sea (passato prossimo), it was beautiful (imperfetto), and tomorrow I'll go again (futuro)." Time to hold all four tenses in your head at once: present, passato prossimo, imperfetto, futuro.
