The Perfect: Have You Ever?
The perfect describes something that has happened and still matters now. It is built from the present tense of olla plus a past participle: -nut/-nyt for one person (singular) or -neet for many (plural). Two moving parts — the olla helper agrees with the person (olen, olet, on…), while the participle agrees with number.
