The Partitive: Some, Please

Here is your first big case ending — and one of the most Finnish things there is. The partitive marks an incomplete, uncountable, or "some" amount. You use it constantly: for drinking "coffee" (not the whole world's coffee, just some), for things you cannot count, and after every number bigger than one.
