What Happened

Now put the past to work. With the -i- marker you can say what happened yesterday and what happened long ago. Just keep an eye on the stem: a final -a or -o often drops before the -i-, and a stem ending in -e loses it too — lukea → luin ("I read"), antaa → annoin ("I gave").
