Negazioni con don't e doesn't

In inglese, al Simple Present non puoi semplicemente mettere not davanti al verbo, come funziona in italiano con non. Ti serve di nuovo l'ausiliare do/does — questa volta con not dopo:

• I/you/we/they → do not = don't
• he/she/it → does not = doesn't

Affermazione	Negazione
I live here.	I don't live here.
She speaks Portuguese.	She doesn't speak Portuguese.
We have time.	We don't have time.

Come per le domande: con doesn't il verbo principale perde la sua -s: She doesn't speak (non speaks).

Caso particolare: to be. Di nuovo niente don't/doesn't — basta not dopo il to be:

• I am not tired. (oppure I'm not tired.)
• Marina is not at home. (oppure Marina isn't at home.)
