What if I had… I would…

"Se eu tivesse mais tempo, eu viajaria mais." — "If I had more time, I'd travel more." Two tenses team up to build every if-then hypothetical in Portuguese: the imperfect subjunctive (tivesse) for the if, and the conditional (viajaria) for the then.
