Expressing an opinion — je pense que & à mon avis

To join in a conversation in French, you need a few set phrases to introduce your opinion. The most common are je pense que… (I think that…), je crois que… (I believe that…), à mon avis… (in my opinion…) and selon moi… (for me…). Important: after je pense que and je crois que you use the indicative, because you are sure — je pense qu'il a raison.
