Will oder going to?

Das Englische hat zwei Hauptformen für die Zukunft, und sie sind nicht beliebig austauschbar:

1. will + Grundform — für spontane Entscheidungen, Versprechen, Vorhersagen:

• I'll help you. (spontan)
• I'll always love you. (Versprechen)
• It will rain tomorrow. (Vorhersage)

2. be going to + Grundform — für vorgeplante Absichten:

• I'm going to study French next year. (geplant)
• We're going to visit Berlin in July. (Plan steht)

3. Present Continuous — für fest vereinbarte Termine in naher Zukunft:

• I'm meeting Marina at seven tomorrow. (Verabredung)
• Marcos is flying to Berlin on Friday. (Ticket schon gekauft)

Kurz:

• will = im Moment entscheiden / vorhersagen
• going to = schon geplant
• Present Continuous = bestätigter Termin
