Writing a Business Email

Todo correo comercial británico sigue el mismo esqueleto. Domina el esqueleto y escribirás cien correos cambiando solo el cuerpo.

El esqueleto de cinco partes

1. Subject (asunto) — corto, específico, sin rodeos
2. Greeting (saludo) — Dear Mr/Ms [apellido] / Dear [nombre de pila]
3. Opening (apertura) — I hope this email finds you well.
4. Body (cuerpo) — el contenido en sí
5. Closing (despedida) — Kind regards, [tu nombre]

Aperturas estándar

Frase	Sentido
Dear Mr/Ms [Surname]	Estimado/a Sr./Sra. [apellido] — formal estándar
Dear Sir or Madam	Estimados señores (formal, sin nombre)
Dear [first name]	Estimado/a [nombre de pila] — formal-cálido
