- 1
I'm reading: quello che succede adesso

- Per l'azione in corso è obbligatorio: What are you doing? — non What do you do?
- Non dimenticare be: I'm working, mai I working.
- Ortografia: make → making, sit → sitting, lie → lying.
- Negazione: I'm not, isn't, aren't. Risposta breve: Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.

In, on, at: una passeggiata nel quartiere

- Con le città sempre in: in London, mai at London.
- Espressioni fisse: at home, at work, in bed, on the bus, on the Tube, on the corner.

Every day or right now?
- Se è adesso, in inglese ci vuole il continuous: What are you doing? — What do you do? è «che lavoro fai?».
- Verbi di stato, senza -ing: like, love, hate, want, need, know, understand — I love this cake.
- Make → making: la -e finale cade.

I'm meeting Marcos on Saturday: programmi e periodi
Il present continuous parla anche di programmi già fissati e di situazioni temporanee — come un periodo a Londra.
Open lesson- Il present continuous esprime anche programmi fissati: I'm meeting Luana on Friday.
- Serve un'indicazione di tempo: tomorrow, on Saturday, at seven, this weekend.
- E situazioni temporanee: I'm living in London this year. Confronta: I live in Madrid.
- Espressioni utili: at the moment, this week, this year, these days.
- What are you doing this weekend? o, informale, What are you up to? — Che programmi hai?
