The days of the week

- Days are written in lower case. Monday to Friday end in a stressed -ì, and the accent must be written: lunedì.
- All are masculine except la domenica.
- No article = this one: Lunedì vado a Pisa. — On Monday I'm going to Pisa.
- With the article = every one: Il lunedì il museo è chiuso. — On Mondays the museum is closed.
- From Monday to Friday: da lunedì a venerdì. The weekend: il fine settimana or il weekend.
