You've been using one of these from day one: Ça va ? comes from aller. Here are three irregular verbs side by side:

• Aller is irregular all the way through — learn it as a chant: vais, vas, va, allons, allez, vont.
• Faire has two traps: vous faites (never faisez) and ils font.
• Venir doubles its n in viennent.
