- Tage und Monate schreibt man klein – anders als im Deutschen: lundi, juillet.
- Lundi allein ist ein bestimmter Montag – am Montag: Je pars lundi. – Ich fahre am Montag.
- Le lundi ist jeder Montag – montags: Le lundi, la boulangerie est fermée. – Montags hat die Bäckerei zu.
- Im Monat heißt en oder au mois de: en juillet, au mois de juillet – im Juli.
- Août (August) spricht man „ut“ oder „u“.
