I've got a headache
Para lo que tienes — un dolor, un resfriado — el inglés usa have o, muy británico, have got:
| English | Español |
|---|---|
| I've got a headache. | Me duele la cabeza. |
| I've got a sore throat. | Me duele la garganta. |
| I've got a stomach ache. | Me duele el estómago. |
| I've got toothache. | Me duelen las muelas. |
| I've got a cold. | Estoy resfriado, resfriada. |
| I've got a cough. | Tengo tos. |
| I've got a temperature. | Tengo fiebre. |
| I've got flu. | Tengo la gripe. |
- -ache es «dolor»: headache, stomach ache, backache, earache, toothache.
- Para la fiebre, en el Reino Unido se dice mucho a temperature; a fever también es correcto.
- La gripe es flu o the flu.
- Con he y she: has got o has — She's got a cold. He has a cough.
Ahora: conjuga have en presente. Escribe solo el verbo — has, no she has.
