Five irregular verbs come up constantly in real conversation. Learn them like the personal pronouns:

The same trick as last time: one form for all three singular persons, so Italians add the pronoun when it isn't clear who is meant — che io sia, che tu sia, che lei sia.

Watch andare: the stem vad- returns in vadano, but noi and voi go back to and-: andiamo, andiate. Now try fare.
