Have + particípio
O present perfect liga o passado ao agora. A forma: have / has + particípio (has com he, she, it).
- I have visited London. — I've visited London.
- She has lost her keys. — She's lost her keys.
Nos verbos regulares, o particípio é igual ao passado: worked, visited, finished, travelled. Nos irregulares, às vezes é uma terceira forma:
| Verbo | Passado | Particípio |
|---|---|---|
| be | was / were | been |
| go | went | gone |
| do | did | done |
| see | saw | seen |
| eat | ate | eaten |
| drink | drank | drunk |
| find | found | found |
| have | had | had |
| buy | bought | bought |
| lose | lost | lost |
Pergunta e negativa usam o próprio have, sem did: Have you eaten? — Yes, I have. / No, I haven't. E cuidado: she's pode ser she is ou she has — she's lost é she has lost.
