Tres palabras para «en»
Donde el español dice siempre en, el inglés elige entre tres preposiciones:
| Uso | Ejemplos | |
|---|---|---|
| in | dentro de algo; ciudades y países | in the kitchen, in the park, in London, in Spain |
| on | sobre una superficie; calles | on the table, on the sofa, on the wall, on Oxford Street |
| at | un punto o un sitio concreto; eventos | at the bakery, at the bus stop, at the party |
Con las calles, en el Reino Unido también oirás in: in Oxford Street.
