The chemist's ist sehr britisch; pharmacy versteht man überall, und in den USA sagt man drugstore. Eine britische Kette wie Boots ist Apotheke und Drogerie in einem.

Etwas verlangen:

• Have you got anything for a cough? — Haben Sie etwas gegen Husten?
• Can I have a packet of paracetamol, please? — Ich hätte gern eine Packung Paracetamol, bitte.

Achtung: gegen Husten heißt for a cough — nicht against.
