Pronombres posesivos y vocabulario doméstico

  1. 1

My, your, our: una forma para todo

    • my (yo), your (tú, usted, vosotros), our (nosotros), their (ellos, ellas).
    • Nunca lleva artículo delante: my house, no the my house.
    • Con el cuerpo y la ropa, posesivo en lugar de artículo: I wash my hands, Put on your coat.

His or her?

    • Its es posesivo; it's es it is.
    • Whose…? pregunta de quién es algo: Whose is this? — It's Marina's.
    • Una mascota con nombre suele ser he o she: Bidu wags his tail.

    • Hay + singular → there is / there's; + plural → there are.
    • Preguntas: Is there…? / Are there…? — Yes, there is. / No, there aren't.
