• Preciso dum favor. — I need a favour.

Unlike no, na, do, da, these are optional: num café and em um café are both correct. Num and numa are everywhere, in speech and in informal writing. Dum and duma are mostly spoken — in writing, Brazilians tend to keep de um, de uma.
